This herb, called "golden thread," is used when there is too much "fire" in the stomach or heart, resulting in restlessness, insomnia or high fever. This is one of the coldest herbs in the Chinese pharmacopoeia and is so effective no herbalist should be without it. Excellent in combination with other anti-stress herbs.
